JOB TITLE: Digital Marketing Associate

REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager

You will be responsible for scheduling content, executing marketing campaigns, and working towards the mission of Open the Bible.

PURPOSE:

We are a growing ministry looking to add a dedicated Digital Marketing Associate to our marketing team in Barrington, IL. As a Digital Marketing Associate, you will schedule and maintain our content on our website and on various social media channels in addition to general marketing campaigns to engage and reach current and new audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and schedule content for all social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram) and maintain accounts
• Schedule and update content in the Open the Bible App
• Create and schedule recurring and one-time email campaigns
• Execute marketing initiatives across multiple channels
• Schedule and update content on the Open the Bible website
• Build and edit website landing pages (no programming experience required)
• Update other web properties as needed including web forms, pop-ups, and ad banners

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience/certification(s) in marketing, communications, or related discipline
• 2 years of experience and proven track record in marketing, social media, content management, or related disciplines
• Good familiarity with marketing terms and principles
• Hands-on experience with: Social Media Management, Content Scheduling, WordPress, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Campaign Monitor, Neon or similar CRM
• Willingness to adapt and grow with the needs of the position and the organization
• Desire to work well on a team to accomplish marketing goals
• Full alignment with Open the Bible’s mission and Statement of Faith
• Ability to commute to our office in Barrington, IL on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
• Ability to work remotely days you are not in the office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
